Our latest addition is the Lake Eagle ("Seeadler"). She is a Neptune 210. This has the same dimensions as a 15s "Jollenkreuzer" and has earned her nickname because like Neptun she has a retractable fin, which enables the boat to go all the way to the bank. Unfortunately we have not yet been able to take photos of the boat in the water or under sail, but we will do so as quickly as possible. She is a completely fiberglass boat. The cockpit is self bailing aft and has a large storage space. Below deck, this boat is a small space wonder. To the left and right there are three "nests", under the forward berth a storage room and the canoe, and there's also plenty of luggage space under the outer seats.

The boat has theoretically adequate berth deck space for four adults, but we would really only offer it that way as a last resort, because it would be very cramped below deck. The ideal crew size from our perspective is two adults and an older child. Then one bunk can be used as additional storage space. The Neptune-cruiser has a waterproof awning, which can also be used to keep rain out of the cockpit. Using the gas heater on board, the cabin can be heated on cooler days or nights. Of course, the boat is fully equipped with dishes, cutlery and 2-burner gas stove. A 4 hp outboard motor is used for driving, which consumes only at full throttle more than 2 liters per hour. Using the engine for acceleration, the boat can reach a 10 km/h cruising speed and therefore can go forward even against the wind. Someone wants to charter a sailboat and has respect for the size and the sail area of a 20's cruiser dinghy will enjoy this good-natured and very dry to sail boat. The mast is set with very little effort. This boat can be sailed without a license on the Brandenburg waters. On Berlin waters, a sailing and motor boating license is required.
