Climate & Weather in Poland

In northern Poland the climate is influenced and impacted by the Baltic Sea, and relatively mild oceanic climate prevails all year round. The southeast of the continent influences the climate and is clearly felt in the winter. Travel season in Poland is from May to late September. On the Baltic Sea, windspeed is between 4 and 5 Bft. Inland and within the lagoon this is much weaker at 0-3 Bft. During the fall increased rainfall can be expected.
